Aurubis doesn't only produce copper and copper products but also precious metals. We offer fine gold with a purity of 99.99 % as granules and bars.

Today, gold is used in various sectors. Some examples for this are the jewelry industry, dental technology and the electronics industry. Furthermore, gold has always been a sought-after financial investment, which is used as a means of hedging against inflation.

Gold is only sold to commercial users/consumers. VAT is invoiced in the reverse charge procedure in accordance with Section 13b of the German Value Added Tax Act (UStG).

According to the London Bullion Market Association, Aurubis is certified as a processor of so-called conflict-free gold raw materials with “Good Delivery” status. The most recent audit was carried out in November 2018 by the TÜV Nord and is already the sixth consecutive successful audit since 2013. The foundation for this is the company’s own group-wide Gold Supply Policy that, in addition to the LBMA’s Gold Guidance requirements, is also based on Annex II of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for conflict minerals.
